November 5th Voting and Absentee Ballot Information

Voting Information

At this website you can:

  1. Check to see if you are registered to vote
  2. Register to vote
  3. Find your polling place
  4. Track your Absentee Ballot  

Ways to Register:   

  1. Register in person at any time, even on election day.
  2. Register online at www.myvot.wi.gov before 10/16/2024
  3. Register to vote by mail with the printed form before 10/16/2024.

You need a proof of residence document to register.  

That can be a drivers license, a utility bill, a credit card statement, or a pay stub with your address on it.

Ways to Vote:  

1.Early in person absentee. 

  • St. Croix county starts 10/22/2024 and most clerks end early voting on 11/1/2024.
  • Early in person voting takes place at your City, Town or Village (aka municipal) Hall.
  • Early in person voting hours vary. Call your municipal hall for specifics.
  • Go to www.myvote.wi.gov for more information on dates and voting locations. 

2. Absentee by mail.  

  • Any qualified elector can request an absentee ballot.
  • Make sure your filled in ballot is mailed in at least one week before election day. 
  • Request your absentee ballot by:
  • Writing or emailing your municipal clerk. 
  • By sending an absentee ballot request form to your municipal clerk’s office. 
  • Or online at www.myvote.wi.gov by 10/31/2024. 
  • Military Voters, hospitalized electors, sequestered jurors day can request an absentee ballot by 5:00PM on election day. 
  • Your absentee ballot will be sent out by 9/19/2024.
  • Only military, permanent overseas, or temporarily overseas voter can request an absentee ballot to be sent to them by fax or email.

3. At your polling place on election day. Bring a photo ID.
