WIS GOP Farm Team Training

September 30, 2023 @ 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM

We are very excited to share with you this opportunity for every Republican to participate and hone new skills that will build a pipeline of conservative activists, organizers, and candidates for years to come!

What: The FTTP is our commitment to fostering a new generation of engaged citizens who possess the tools and expertise to create lasting positive change at the local, regional, and even national levels. Whether you’re an emerging activist, a community organizer, or someone considering a future in politics, our comprehensive training program is designed to meet your needs and build a community of like-minded advocates driving conservative principles throughout Wisconsin.

Who: All Republicans (members and supporters) seeking to grow in their understanding of campaigns, advocacy, and community organizing can (and should) participate! Potential local candidates, incumbents up for re-election, and already declared candidates are highly encouraged to participate.

When: The FTTP will take place in person from mid-September through December, with an extension into the Spring cycle—which will include the mentorship/resource aspect. Additionally, weekly virtual sessions will be available for all participants.

How: Interested persons should register here: https://wisgop.org/farm-team/ Upon completion of the registration form, specific information about the location selected, and all virtual sessions available will be provided almost immediately. Additionally, weekly updates will be sent to keep those registered informed of all upcoming trainings, both in person and virtual. We will likely add new in-person locations and will continuously add new virtual sessions.

Sessions: All in-person sessions will be 4 hours of very specific training. Weekly virtual sessions will cover topics not necessarily covered in in-person sessions.

Guest Speakers: Each location and virtual session will feature different presenters. These presenters can range from current elected officials, campaign staff, and government officials to journalists, media personalities, and former officials.

At the culmination of this training, participants will be equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and practical experience needed to make a real difference in their community. Whether they choose to spearhead a grassroots movement, run for office, or play a vital role in a political campaign, they’ll be prepared to lead with purpose, integrity, and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead—AND you’ll be prepared to lead them too!
