Call to Caucus – 2024

Please note that there is hereby called, by action of the Republican Party of the Seventh Congressional District of Wisconsin’s Executive Committee, a Caucus, as provided for in Article VI of the Constitution of this group, to be held at the Spooner Civic Center, 301 Walnut Street (Washburn County) commencing at 10 am on Saturday, April 13, 2024 for the purpose of transacting the following business:

1.    To consider the reports from the Credentials, Rules and Resolutions committees;

2.    To select district delegates and alternates to the 2024 RNC convention;

3.    To make any recommended changes to the Constitution;

4.    To transact any other business that may be necessary to achieve the objectives of the Republican Party of the Seventh Congressional District of Wisconsin. 

Cost to attend shall be $40 per person. Pre-registration is required by April 8, 2024

This Call to Caucus was moved by Douglas County and seconded by Polk County and unanimously approved by the Executive Committee at its February 8^th, 2024 meeting.

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED BY APRIL 8TH. NO EXCEPTIONS.

In order to be a St. Croix County Delegate you must also complete and submit the online form HERE.

Registration includes a printed packet and lunch. Cost is $40 per person. Guests are allowed, but the cost is still $40 per person and they are not allowed to participate in the event. There is no option to pay less and skip lunch.  

Check-in will begin at 9 am with guest speakers from 10-noon. We will start the business portion after lunch and usually wrap up by 4pm.  

Credit/debit card is preferred via the link as it is easier for our credentials staff and accounting, however those who wish can prepay by check. It MUST be received by April 8th.

We will be approving a list of members to serve on district committees for 2024. The committees include Rules, Resolutions, and Credentials.  

Please contact your county party delegates to see if they’d like to serve. I will slot them into positions as needed to get a broad representation across the district and meet our constitutional needs.  

These committees will meet prior to the district caucus via conference call. Credentials will assist in check-in at the April 13th meeting in Spooner.

Also, we will have an opening for the District Treasurer. The exec committee is tasked with appointing a replacement. Interested persons should also send a letter of interest with brief qualifications to me by Feb 26th.
